I also added the weather widget to my blog. So far that is the only tech tip that I have implemented. But it seemed to be the most useful when compared to other options available. Maybe I will add a twitter feed or links to YouTube soon. Being able to play videos and get constant updates will definitely add to the appearance that my blog has a high amount of traffic each day.
